2024 Highlights

  • Our Chief Nursing Officer, Dina Dent, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, successfully advocated for human resources to build the Professional Practice team to support our robust nursing teams’ successful transition into practice, professional development, certification and growth.
  • This year, we welcomed Clinical Nurse Educator for Research and Evidence-Based Practice, Anjie Raber, PhD, RN, CNE, to support nursing research and evidence-based practice for our nurse residents and throughout our service lines.
  • Professional Practice assists in the reduction of hospital-acquired infections, pressure injuries and falls. BSN and above degrees along with professional certification rates are at an all-time high of 90% and 45%, respectively. Our nurses pursue lifelong learning through local, regional and national conferences.
  • With the support of Professional Practice and the collaboration of leaders and peers, direct care RN turnover has significantly decreased to 13%.
