About Amy R. Lusk, NP

Amy Lusk is a nurse practitioner. She joined Inova in 2024 and has been practicing as a neurology nurse practitioner since 2019.

Prior to joining Inova, Amy was a nurse practitioner in neurology at Riverhills Neuroscience in Cincinnati.

Amy enjoys working with patients recovering from strokes; treating facial pain/trigeminal neuralgia, migraine and other types of headaches; and helping patients who have undergone brain surgery. She has always found the collaboration with neurosurgeons very rewarding. Amy loves working with patients of all ages. No matter the age, she believes we can learn and make positive lifestyle changes to enhance our health.

Amy strongly believes in patient autonomy and patients taking an active role in deciding the treatment plan that is best for them. Her patient care goal is to get her patients to the best possible quality of life and help them set realistic treatment goals to achieve those goals.

Amy and her husband are from the Midwest and love to grow their own vegetables, can them and cook with them. Before moving to Virginia, they had 15 free range chickens. They also love to travel; Italy and Poland are their favorite places to visit.
