Emily joined Inova Health System in January 2021. She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech with a major in human nutrition, foods and exercise, and minor in Spanish. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University.

Emily is passionate about continuing her education and is always searching for opportunities to learn and better herself throughout her career. She is certified in Dry Needling Levels 1 and 2 and has taken courses from the Institute of Physical Art. Emily has a background as a personal trainer and Orangetheory coach, and loves incorporating her exercise knowledge with her manual therapy skills in her physical therapy treatments. She enjoys treating people of all ages and activity levels – her priority is to keep people doing what they love while helping them feel empowered by movement.

Emily is a native of Northern Virginia and now resides in Arlington, VA. In her free time she enjoys watching hockey, running, snowboarding, weight lifting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, and their dogs.
