Dr. Gloria Okereke is a primary care physician double board certified in family medicine and obesity medicine. She joined Inova in 2023 and has been a practicing physician since 2015.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Okereke was a family medicine physician at Duly Health Care.
Dr. Okereke completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in PA and her residency training at Advocate Christ Family Medicine in IL. She completed her undergraduate studies at the New York Institute of Technology.
Dr. Okereke is dedicated to delivering quality patient care to patients of all backgrounds from toddlers (ages 2 and up) to seniors. Her clinical interests include preventative care, chronic care management, women’s health, and weight loss medicine. As a primary care physician, she believes in the value of attentiveness to detail, patient advocacy, and fostering long-lasting patient relationships. She is committed to providing comprehensive evidence-based medical care that is tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs. She believes wholeheartedly in the importance of disease prevention and empowers her patients to take ownership of their health.
Dr. Okereke is a Nigerian American who grew up in New Jersey. Outside of medicine, Dr. Okereke is a travel bug and enjoys exploring new places. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing volleyball, catching up on her favorite TV shows, enjoying music, and exercise.
