Dr. Jennifer Pauldurai is a specialty care physician board certified in neurology and board eligible in neuropsychiatry at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2019.
Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Pauldurai was a behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry fellow at Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, Cleveland Clinic in Las Vegas.
Dr. Pauldurai’s clinical areas of interest include memory disorders, dementia syndromes, behavioral disruptions including hallucinations and delusions, and mood disorders in the setting of neurodegenerative disease. She also has a special interest in mental health and psychology and finds that she cannot care for brain disease without overlap with psychological wellbeing. Therefore, she integrates therapy and coping skills into her practice. She is also trained in integrative medicine and strives to provide a multidisciplinary and personalized treatment plan that includes nutrition, cognitive and physical activity, sleep, and mental wellbeing recommendations.
Dr. Pauldurai enjoys working with the geriatric population, patients with unique stories, and patients with a lot of curiosity and questions. She believes that every human has a unique collection of experiences, thoughts and behaviors. This story can become changed with the onset of brain disease, but the individual’s story doesn’t have to be over. As she cares for patients, she aims to learn their personal stories and help guide them to living their best life despite changes in their thinking and memory. Dr. Pauldurai endeavors to provide a personalized, integrative and empathetic patient experience that includes education, counseling and collaborate discussion to best manage brain disease.
