Lauren graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor of science degree and a masters of arts degree in teaching. She taught middle school math in Northern Virginia for a couple years before switching careers. Lauren worked as a Physical Therapy Aide for an outpatient sports rehabilitation clinic for two years prior to going back to school to become a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in order to provide more hands-on care. She graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an associate of applied science degree.
Lauren has a special interest in the management of sports-related injuries, especially relating to the knee due to past sports injuries she experienced herself. She is passionate about helping all patients reach their goals by providing quality care to help restore mobility and functional independence. She is an American Physical Therapy Association credentialed clinical Instructor and loves mentoring and teaching students looking to join the physical therapy world.
Lauren is a native of the Northern Virginia area and still resides here with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, being active outdoors with her dogs, watching and playing sports, dancing, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
