Meike joined Inova Physical Therapy Center - Franconia-Springfield in 2015 and is now one of the senior therapists caring for patients. She completed both her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and her doctorate in physical therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Meike has been practicing in outpatient orthopedic clinics since 2013 and has been a Certified Functional Manual Therapist since 2019. She most recently obtained the board certification of Orthopedic Certified Specialist and enjoys helping patients with a variety of diagnoses, with a special interest in treating cyclists.

Meike is originally from Germany and currently lives in the Kingstowne neighborhood of Alexandria. She is an avid cyclist with a history of racing and also has a passion for weight lifting (power lifting).
