Michelle is a staff Physical Therapist at the Inova Springfield clinic. She has more than 35 years of clinical experience across multiple venues to include: hospital inpatient, home health, assisted living and private practice. The focus of her clinical practice at Inova is in outpatient orthopedics, particularly patients with neck or lower back impairments, and favors the treatment techniques of Robin McKenzie, recognized for his understanding and treatment of spinal disorders. The goals of Michelle's treatment programs are to achieve patient's personal goals to allow them to function in all aspects of their lives.

Michelle graduated in 1984 from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.  The focus of her continuing education is in advanced McKenzie techniques and strength and balance issues in senior citizens, with particular interest in fall prevention.  Michelle resides in Fairfax, Virginia, with her husband, and has two grown sons. In her free time, Michelle enjoys working in her yard, scrap booking, wineries, reading, and Jazzercise classes and is a huge Auburn Tigers fan.
