Ryan joined the Inova Physical Therapy team in the spring of 2021 with special interest in ACL prevention and rehabilitation as well as sports injuries. He earned his doctor of physical therapy degree from the University at Buffalo in 2013 after studying exercise science as an undergraduate. He has worked in the Northern Virginia and Maryland area since 2015 and also completed several continuing education courses focused on running injuries and ACL rehabilitation. Ryan is certified in dry needling through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, Blood Flow Restriction, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. Ryan has completed the Manual Therapy Program through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments and is seeking certification in manual therapy.
Ryan is originally from Buffalo, NY, and a big fan of all things Buffalo, especially the Buffalo Bills. When not at work, Ryan enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and playing with his golden doodle, Easton.
