Dr. Hannah Rezaian is a specialty care physician board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics at Inova Health System. She joined Inova in 2022 and has been practicing since 2017. Her clinical areas of interest include adult preventive medicine and management of chronic medical conditions, with a particular focus on geriatric health.
Dr. Rezaian earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, then completed her internal medicine residency at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. Following her residency, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in geriatric medicine with a focus on clinical leadership at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
Most recently, Dr. Rezaian served as an assistant medical director in a skilled nursing facility at Moorings Park in Southwest Florida and participated in a national quality improvement initiative to optimize medication use and reduce polypharmacy in older adults.
Her goal is to help patients maximize their physical functioning and wellbeing while maintaining their goals of care. She pursued a fellowship in geriatrics to promote this philosophy as patients transition through all phases of adulthood to maintain mobility and independence.
A native of Northern Virginia, Dr. Rezaian currently resides in McLean, VA, with her family. In her spare time, she likes to bake baklava and hike on local park trails.
