Dr. Sheri Fedor is a vestibular physical therapist who is a neurological clinical specialist. Dr. Fedor joined Inova in 2017 and she serves as director of the Inova Vestibular Concussion Physical Therapy Program. Her goal at Inova is to provide patients of all ages and abilities with oculomotor and vestibular treatments following concussion.
Prior to coming to Inova, Dr. Fedor completed a neurological physical therapy residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2012. She completed the vestibular competency course at Emory University in 2014 and now specializes in vestibular physical therapy. Dr. Fedor exclusively treated vestibular concussion patients at the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program for five years and has worked with athletes ranging from novice to professional. She treats vestibular dysfunction, such as BPPV, which may occur following concussion.
Dr. Fedor completed her undergraduate education at Utica College, Division of Syracuse University as salutatorian. During her bachelor degree studies, she helped found Alpha Eta National Allied Health Honor Society. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Utica College in 2011.
Dr. Fedor has been published in educational books, peer reviewed journal articles, and has presented at national conferences on concussion. Dr. Fedor is also serving as adjunct faculty for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Shenandoah University, Leesburg Campus.
A native of Utica, New York, Dr. Fedor currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband Darren and her dog, Peanut. In her spare time, Sheri likes to play tennis, participate in Pure Barre, shop, and spend time with family and friends.
