Vanessa Hodge is a doctor of physical therapy who first joined Inova Physical Therapy Centers in 2004. Vanessa treats a wide variety of orthopedic patients, and particularly enjoys working with knee, shoulder, ankle and post-operative cases.

She attended the College of William and Mary and earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology. Continuing on to the Medical College of Virginia, she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a focus on orthopedic care.

Vanessa has completed extensive coursework over the years in joint mobilization, body mechanics, posture and core stabilization. She has an interest in ergonomics and is certified in performing office assessments through The Back School of Atlanta.

Outside of her time in the clinic, Vanessa works as a Health Educator for Inova's Personal Back Coach employee wellness program and has mentored more than two hundred clients to achieve their healthy back goals.

Vanessa currently resides in Burke, Virginia, with her husband, three children and dog. She enjoys biking, gardening, exercise, vacationing at the beach and trips to Williamsburg, Virginia.
