Vera joined Inova Physical Therapy Center in 2007, working at the Loudoun and Landmark facilities before joining IPTC Ashburn. She graduated with a degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Northern Virginia Medical Education Campus in 2006. In 2012 she received training in BASI Pilates and incorporates Pilates core strengthening philosophy into her patient treatment.
Specialties center on core training, manual therapy, and body mechanics for the spine patient. Continuing education courses include Maitland-Australian Manual Therapy Approach, Institute of Physical Arts, and the International Spine and Pain Institute. These courses have expanded Vera's skills in manual therapy, myofascial release, and understanding the bio-psycho-social aspects of treatment. She enjoys the orthopedic setting and working with the wide variety of patients it includes.
