The Inova Loudoun Radiation Oncology Center offers comprehensive radiation therapy services for cancer patients – close to home.
Our hospital is nationally recognized and accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer (NAPBC). Our radiation oncology program is accredited as a center of excellence (APEx) by the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to high standards of safety and quality and that we practice patient-centered care by promoting effective communication, coordinating treatment, and engaging patients and their families as partners in care.
Our facility is staffed by the largest, most experienced radiation oncology team in the DC metro area and is equipped with advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment.
A 3D treatment-planning system enables our doctors to localize treatments with great precision. Our linear accelerator provides both intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image guided radiation therapy (IGRT). We also offer seed implants for prostate cancer patients.
