The Cancer Rehabilitation Program at Inova Alexandria Hospital is a specialized therapy program designed to assist cancer survivors in achieving and maintaining as much functional mobility and endurance as possible during and after cancer treatment.
The program is the only one of its kind in the D.C. metro area and is provided by Audrey Philatre, OT, CLT and Michael Saldana Arthur, OT, CLT – both physical therapists with specialized training in oncology and advanced certification as lymphedema specialists.
Each care plan is specifically designed to meet your individual needs. If you would benefit from a general exercise program to improve endurance and limit fatigue, we refer you to our Cancer Recovery Program, a specialty of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center at Inova Alexandria Hospital.
